She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth Thelma Williams Ratchford and John Lucious Ratchford, Jr.; her husband Charles Thomas Brooks, III; her children, Lena Elizabeth Pringle, Charles "Chase" Thomas Brooks, IV, Julia Victoria Brooks and Jada Kathleen Brooks; her siblings, Sandra V. Ratchford Woods (Pastor David Jr), John L. Ratchford, III and Dr. Shawanda Ratchford Matthews (Michael Singleton, Sr); her aunts, Willie Mae Williams, Dorothy Williams and Inez McMillan (Gus); and her pets, Peaches and Ace. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews and a large and loving extended family, dear friends.
