James Thomas Hodge Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Thomas Hodge (Manning, South Carolina), who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Hodge and Mary Leah Bartlett Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Yvonne Powell Hodge; his children, Dr. Melissa "Lisa" Hodge Hunter (Charles) of Mt. Pleasant and James "Barry" Hodge of Turbeville; his grandchildren, Charles Gareth Hunter (Ashley) of Georgetown and Hannah Claire Elliott Hunter of Charleston; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Sullivan and Sutton; and his sister Betty Joe Graham of Florence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
