With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Morris Langdale (Manning, South Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, Claude Eugene Garthright, Sr. and Harold Albert Langdale, Jr.; her parents, Martin Alex Morris and Annie Mae Veason Morris; her grandson Stephen Hunter Brown; her brothers, Tommy Morris, Edward Morris, Randy Benton and Robbie Benton; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Jo Garthright.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Brown of Manning, Becky Richburg (Terry) of Manning, Claude Garthright, Jr. of Suffolk, VA and Larry Lee of Sumter; and her siblings, Carol Holladay (Stanley) of Prosperity and Wayne Benton of Manning. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
