He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe J. Getz and Katherine Marie Sechrist Getz; and his son-in-law Raymond McCarthy. He is survived by: his children, Penny Dulin (Barry), Mark Getz (Susan), Kathy McCarthy, Wendy Smith (Kevin) and Amanda DeBord (Taylor). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Paxville Cemetery (1565 Jerro Rd, Manning, SC 29102).
