She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Chessley Langston, Jr.; her parents, Clyde Strickland and Eunice Vause Strickland; her son Cecil Chessley Langston III; her grandchildren, Ken Langston and Mickey Tedder; and her brother Rudy Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Miranda Upp (Bill) of Summerton and Myra Jenkins of Manning; her grandchildren, Beth Etheridge (Robert), Brad Calcutt (Sarah), Brittany Briley (Tony), Robbie Campbell (Jessica), Victoria McCollough (Matthew), Chelsea Lee (Nicholas) and Ryan Tedder (Roxie); and her siblings-in-law, Alton Langston (Ann) of Union and Melba Rae Lehman (Jim) of Florence. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santee Baptist Church (12960 SC-260, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
