She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Frank Jackson; her parents, Robert Rees DuRant, Jr. and Eleanor Stroman Jumper DuRant; her brothers, Buist Jumper and Bobby DuRant; and her niece DeDee Jumper Britain.
She is survived by: her children, Carl F. Jackson, Jr. of Manning and Peggi Jackson Sorrell (Mike) of Manning; her grandsons, William Sorrell (Makayla) of Manning and Robert Sorrell of Madison, CT; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Margaret Grace and Charlotte; her sibling's children, Robert R. DuRant IV (Farrow) of Mt. Pleasant and Ramona DuRant Jacocks (Mitchell) of Lexington; and her sister-in-law Tracy DuRant (Jackson) of Murrells Inlet. She is also survived by son nieces and nephews.
