She was predeceased by: her parents, Roddie Shupe and Hazel Shupe; and her siblings, Jimmy Shupe and Annie Rivenbark. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Leotia Smith, Jr.; her sons, Danny Steven Smith (Michelle) of Minnesota and Matthew Lee Smith (Veronica) of Darlington; and her sisters, Dorothy Vitsos of Myrtle Beach and Wanda Wishard of Maryland. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
