He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Walter Beaster and Violet Peterson Beaster; and his brother Thomas Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Elizabeth Hoover; his children, Gabriel Hoover (Debra) of Florence and Michelle H. Tarlton (Brian Pleasants) of Summerville; his brothers, Stanley Hoover of Fond du Lac, WI and Raymond Hoover (Audrey) of Lomira, WI; and his uncle Andrew Bronstad (Donna) of Chetek, WI. He is also survived by several half-brothers and half-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (1001 Stockade Dr, Florence, SC 29506).
