She is survived by: her husband Johnny Mitchell Whitmire, Sr.; her son Mitchell Whitmire (Wanda); her grandchildren, Tracy Brown (Jamie), Jessica Sturman (Matthew) and Brittany Brown (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Bryson, Aubree, Peighton, Trayson, Owen and Mattison; her siblings, Tony Capps (Stella), Roger Capps and Margie Mayes (Tom); her sister-in-law Linda Kitchen (Frank); and her nephews, Adam and Nick Finley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Renfrew Baptist Church (951 Geer Hwy, Travelers Rest, SC 29690). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
