We bid farewell to David Embry (Marietta, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 78. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bud and Marie Sanders Embry. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stanley Embry; his children, Leanne Embry (Zeff) of San Antonio, Texas, Chris Embry of Marietta and Michael "Tuffy" Waites (Jan) of Opelika, Alabama; his sisters, Harriet Embry Aaron of Taylors and Anna Embry Fountain (Marvin) of Clayton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tiffany and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Macy, Ava, Brantley, Emily and Zack.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gap Creek Baptist Church (388 Gap Creek Rd, Marietta, SC 29661). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
