Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Leila for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Cox and Thelma N. Cox; and her siblings, Callie Anderson Burgess (Roe) of Marietta, J. C. Cox, Jr. (Frances) of Pelzer, Calvin N. Cox (Martha) of Travelers Rest and John L. Cox (Mildred) of Williamston.
She is survived by: her brother Landrum Cox (Kathy) of Lowndesville.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cox Chapel Baptist Church (605 Hart Cut Rd, Marietta, SC 29661).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to North Greenville University (https://www.ngu.edu) or Black Mountain Presbyterian Church (https://bmpcnc.org) Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service to celebrate Leila's life at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 25th, at Cox Chapel Baptist Church, 605 Hart Cut Road, Marietta, SC 29661.
