We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2024, at the age of 91, Betty White-Atkinson of Marion, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty White-Atkinson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dudley Herring and Lottie Richardson Herring; her former life partner Douglas Carlyle White; her husband James Hugh Atkinson; and her siblings, Eunice H Allen and Leon Waldo Herring.

She is survived by : her stepsons, Jim Atkinson (Pam) of Auburndale and Don Atkinson (Jeanie) of Nevarre Beach, FL. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Resident Care Fund C/O The Manor, 2100 Twin Church Road Florence, SC 29501.
