He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Curry" Cannon and Margaret Alford Cannon; and his sister Eleanor Cannon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hewitt Cannon; his children, Clayton "James" Cannon, Jr. (Julia) and Melissa Cannon Sieh (Robb); and his stepchildren, Mike Murdock (Missy) and Cristopher Murdock. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Palmer Cemetery.
