She was predeceased by: her parents, Victoria Sims Stokes and James Edward Stokes; and her grandparents, Rev. Hardy and Maggie Sims. She is survived by: her children, Andre Stokes of Pittsburgh, PA, Candace McNeil and Asia McNeil of Dillon; her grandchildren, Karter Jackson, Brian Jackson, Breon Jackson, Brayden Jackson and Tanesha Jackson; her siblings, Rebecca Townsend of Florence, SC and Robert Lee Stokes of Dillon, SC; her aunts, Alberta Johnson of Washington, DC, Mercedes Sims of Sellers, SC and Vera Sims of Latta, SC; and her uncle Moses Salmon of Washington, DC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel (612 S Main St, Marion, SC 29571). Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and masks are required during visitation and funeral services.
