She was predeceased by: her parents, Rowland Byrd and Mae Bell Demery Byrd; her former husband James Warren "Jimmy" Smith; Clyde L. Brogdon, Janet Smith Little, Rowland "John" Byrd, Dianne Byrd Whitley and Annette Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Smith Scott (Robert) of Summerville and Warren Scott Smith (Stacy) of Clemson; her grandchildren, Ashley Scott Cummings (Shawn), Mikala Little and Ben Smith; and her great grandchildren, Grant and Drew Cummings.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church (2508 US-501, Marion, SC 29571).
