She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebbie Willis and Mattie Willis; her husband Cary Singletary Jr.; her daughter Delores Anderson; her siblings, Mary F. Williams and Allen Lucky; her son-in-law Oscar Anderson (Roger Fortune Jr.); and her great grandchildren, Tramaine Fortune Jr. and Tiera Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Fortune, Linda Woodberry and Karen Brasby (Reginald); and her siblings, Annette Willis (Anthony), Remell Douglas and Michael Willis (Faith). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, forty‑three great‑grandchildren, and nine great‑great‑grandchildren.
