He is survived by: his stepchildren, Mary Anna B. Gainey of Darlington, SC and E. Kincaid "Caid" Bonnoitt of Darlington, SC.; his grandchildren, Sophia "Sophie" F. Oakley, Hanna G. Herndon (Brennan) of Florence, SC and Ashton "Trace" Gainey of Darlington, SC.; and his siblings, William "Bill" F. Guyton (Janet) of Columbia, SC and Evelyn G. Stuart of Mullins, SC.
