We are sad to announce that, on March 14, 2026, at the age of 90, Robert Cummings of Marion, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cummings and Annastacia Dowling Cummings; and his siblings, Pat Smith, Phillip C. and John T. Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Cummings of Surfside Beach, SC.; his children, Robert, Jr., Cheryl Leavy (John) of Tridell, UT and Tracy Miles (Jan) of Albany, NY; and his brother-in-law Bud Smith of Marmora, NJ. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
