He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carew Alvarez and Maryann Robinson Alvarez; his siblings, Larry Alvarez and Joanne; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Walden.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Driggers Alvarez; his daughters, Karen Watts (Donnie) and Kathie Boatwright (Wyman Sr.); his siblings, Joseph Carew Alvarez (Billy Alvarez) and Mary Lynn Jones (Charles Jones); his sister-in-law Vicky Alvarez; his grandchildren, Wyman Boatwright Jr. (Kasey), Brianna Pearce (Alan), William Andrew "Drew" Boatwright (Laura Bryn), Trey Watts (Callie) and William Watts; and his great grandchildren, Yates Boatwright, Wells Pearce, William Andrew Boatwright, Jr. and Briggs Pearce.
