He is survived by: his son Steven Garrett; his grandchildren, Christopher Garrett, Jeffrey Bledsoe, Jessica Yarbrough (Cameron) and Ariel Fitzwater (Josh); his great grandchildren, Cayden, Katherine, Peyden, Alissah, Philip and Natalie; his daughters-in-law, Violet Garrett and Janice Nicks (James); and his granddaughter-in-law Kimberly Garrett.
