He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Watkins and Esther Watkins; his siblings, Larry Watkins and Jane Carolyn Workman; and his daughter Tammy Daniels.

He is survived by: his children, Ken Watkins (Robin) and Leah Thompson (Recardo). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
