She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Pitts and Walter McDaniel, Sr.; her husband Earl Cardell Hunter; her son Earl Fitzgerald Hunter; and her siblings, Bennie Ruth Williams and Walter McDaniel, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Christopher Hunter (Almetra McGee) of Mauldin; her stepdaughter Tamika Hunters of Laurens; her grandchildren, A'Najhia Fleming, A'Zareya Smith and A'Jayceon Hunter; and her brother Mathew McDaniel (Sharon) of Laurens. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
