He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Archie Herring, Sr. and Thelma Rogers Herring. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Cheek Herring; his son Jeremy Polston (Erin) of Bennettsville, SC; his brothers, Archie Herring (Shelia) of Gibson and Tony Herring (Jennifer) of Simpsonville, SC; his grandchildren, Curtis, Caleb, Maddie and Will Polston of Bennettsville, SC; and his pets, Zack and Zoey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
