Ophelia Locklear Kitchin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ophelia Locklear Kitchin (McColl, South Carolina), who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donnie Locklear and Myrtle Langley Locklear; her siblings, Virgie Montoya, Catherine Shannon and David Locklear; and her grandson Dane Bustard.
She is survived by: her children, Darrel Kitchin (Lynn), Kevin Kitchin (Sommer) and Carmela Kitchin George (Leroy Anderson); her sisters, Margaret LaBean, Jeanette Redbrook and Geneva Williams; and her grandchildren, Tracie Kitchin (Gunner), Darrel Wayne Kitchin, III (Taylor), Cheyenne English (Cameron), Neylan Kitchin and Nolan Kitchin. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (300 N Church St, McColl, SC 29570). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
