She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Patterson and Emma L. Patterson; and her sisters, Nancy Harper, Thelma Kinard and Alice Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Martin of McCormick, SC; her daughters, Kathy Sibert (Kennya) of Zebulon, NC, Christa Martin and Janet Kelly (Willie) of Greenwood, SC; her grandchildren, Jayden Harris, Kayla Sibert, Kennya Sibert Jr. and Celeste Kelly; and her siblings, Martha Lee Patterson, Carrie Hughey and James S. Patterson (Rosa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Andrew Wardlaw Funeral Home (610 W Gold St, McCormick, SC 29835). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Shiloh AME Church (405 SC-10, McCormick, SC 29835). A committal service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
