He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Johnson and Muriel Elizabeth Quin Johnson. He is survived by : his wife Charlene Freeswick Johnson; his children, John A. Johnson, Jr., Jimmy Johnson of North Carolina, Philip Johnson of New Jersey, Linda J. Arrowood of North Carolina, Mary Anne Johnson of North Carolina and Colleen Johnson of McCormick; and his siblings, Wayne Johnson of Wyoming and Alice Guentensperger of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.
