We announce the death of Louise C Sanders of McCormick, South Carolina, born in Cornelia, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Louise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Max Christian and Kathryn Feagle Sanders; her stepfather Levis R. Sanders; her husband Charlie Sanders; her sister Maxine Granger; and her sons-in-law, Zim Cannon and Ken Schultz.
She is survived by: her children, Joy S. Cannon of Columbia, SC, Kim S. Schultz of Charlotte, NC, Charlie C. "Chuck" Sanders, Jr. (Kim) of Kershaw, SC and Stanley M. Sanders (Britton) of Woodbridge, CT; her grandchildren, Ashley S. Odom (Adam), Molly S. Belhiteche (Florian) of Paris, France, Charlie C. "Chad" Sanders, III of Charlotte, NC, Christian A. Sanders (Aryn) of Dover, DE, Amanda B. Sanders of Norwalk, CT, Shannon Sanders of New Haven, CT, Ryan Sanders of New York City, Kerri Sanders of Garner, NC, Declan and Finn Sanders of Woodbridge, CT; and her great grandchildren, Carrie Lyn, Ella Odom and Anne Belhiteche. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
