She was predeceased by: her mother Frances M. Whitlock; her husband James "Jimmy" Giles; and her sister Judy Murr. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Poole (Amy) and Mimi Taylor; her sisters, Suzanne Robinson (Lee) and Donna McCormick (Dave); and her grandchildren, Luke Poole, Katie Poole, Claire Poole, Jackson Taylor and Giles Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1401 Greenwood Hwy, McCormick, SC 29835).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
