She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elbert Widemand and Faye Hazel Blanchard; her former husband William A. Lewis, Sr.; her husband Allen Newman; and her brother John David Wideman.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Motte (Garreth Porch), William A. Lewis, Jr. (Adair) and David Wayne Lewis; her brother Bobby Wideman (Rachel); and her grandchildren, Melissa Faye Motte, William Richard Motte, Kevin Anthony Lewis and Steven Andrew Lewis. She is also survived by seven great grandchild.
