She is survived by: her brother Alvin Buchanan (Sherry); her sons, Mark Gunter (Mindy) of Melbourne, FL, Matthew Surface (Erika) of Indian Trail, NC, Adam Surface of Moncks Corner, SC and John Paul Surface (J. P.) of Bluffton, SC.; her grandchildren, Dylan, Alec, Hannah, Kyndal, Sarah and Ayden; and her friend Phyllis Lowe.
