It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Cooper of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Tyson James and Dessie Barnhill James; her husband Fulton Cooper; and her siblings, Eula Mae Lane, James Page and Billy James.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delsey C. Brown (Tom) of Seneca, Mandy Cooper (Lynda Coe) of Moncks Corner and Melinda Encarnation (LeeRay) of Moncks Corner; her siblings, Gloria Fenegan of Lexington and Boyd James (Jennie) of Marion; her grandchildren, Molly B. Quackenbush (Mark), Logan Encarnacion (Julia), Kailey Bugarin (Alex) and Avery Wolcott (Cole); her great grandchildren, Piper Quackenbush, Pague Encarnacion, Xander Bugarin, Penn Quackenbush, Meadow Encarnacion and Hazel Bugarin; and her pet Gunner Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (2236 Reedy Creek Rd, Marion, SC 29571).
