It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Jeffers (Moncks Corner, South Carolina), born in Howell, Michigan, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Everett Skaggs and Carla Deaton Skaggs; her husband Osborne R. "Ozzy" Jeffers; her sons, Royce Gelzer of St. George, Jeff Gelzer of New Hope and Rodney Gelzer of New Hope; her sisters, Clara Johnson of Michigan, Allene Johnson of Tennessee and Wanda Lykins of Michigan; and her grandson R. J. Gelzer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 West Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (843-761-8027) to assist with her funeral expenses.
