Billy Gene Pope Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Gene Pope of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Patterson; his wife Imogene Pope; his siblings, James "Jack" Lewis Pope and Wanda Deaver Brown; and his stepsons, Ronnie and Ricky Neal.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donald R Pope and Shirley Mull (Robert Cochrem); and his daughters, Kathie Davidson, Patsy Ferguson and Cindy Pope. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation (869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens (3044 Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
