Celicia G. Chance Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celicia G. Chance of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe J. Guerry and Jessie Mae Altman Guerry; her son James Thomas Chance, Sr.; and her siblings, Catherine Guerry, Barbara Emory, Corrine Emory, Beverly Chance, Eddie Guerry, Charles Guerry, Johnny Guerry and Tony Guerry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice "Patty" Cooper (Gerald) of Andrews, Cynthia Ann Ackerman (Trenton) of Shulerville and Sherry Chance Fortenberry of Bethera; her sister Gloria Tairney; and her grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Justin Cooper, Brandy Cooper, Lindsay Meahl, Caleb Ackerman, Stephanie Murphy, Chance Smith, James Thomas Chance, Jr., Rachel Michelle Chance, Susan Raye Chance and Steven Carnelle Chance. She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
