We announce the death of Chip Chipman of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilden "Bud" Chipman and Rosella Washum Chipman; his wife Myrna Wrenn Chipman; and his siblings, Alma Rosalind Chipman Elliott, Edward "Peck" Chipman, Gene Chipman, Charles Chipman, Larry Chipman, Bobby Chipman and Tilden Chipman, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Angie Barbato of Wilmington, Jennifer C. Gaskins (Ron) of Macedonia and Chippy Chipman (Chelsie) of Moncks Corner; his brother Rev. Howard Chipman (Rachael) of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Landen, Cameron, Saylor, Lynlee, Ellie, Sutton, Hayley (Hunter), Gavin and Logan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Chip's honor to Cole's Victory Lap, PO Box 5779, Greenville, SC 29606.
