He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Raymond Hill and Myrtle Still Hill; and his daughter Whitney Leigh Hill. He is survived by : his wife Dotty of Hill's Ambulance Service; his son John Clyde "Johnny" Hill of Moncks Corner; and his sister Mary Hill Burnley (Don) of Bonneau Beach.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Russell Funeral Chapel (107 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Berkeley Memorial Gardens (635 SC-6, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).

In lieu of flowers the family requested memorials be made to Agape Hospice, 187 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
