She was predeceased by: her husband Leon E. Smith, Sr.; her brother Samuel Rambert; and her sister-in-law Melvena Brown. She is survived by: her children, Leon E. Smith, Jr., Stanley T. Smith, Margretta N. Smith and Anjanette L. Smith; her grandchildren, Tara M. Smith, Jaquetta K. Smith and Leon D. Smith; and her great grandchildren, Treymeatrius O. Watkins and Isabella D. Smith. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
