He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Richards and Anna Mae Richards; and his brother Franklin Richards. He is survived by: his sister Cleo Broyles; his wife Alice Richards of Bristol, TN; his children, Guy Richards and Kerri Williams (Thomas Craig Williams); and his grandchildren, Gabriel Aiden Williams, Seth Isaac Williams and Elizabeth Grace Williams.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled Veterans in honor of Ernest L. Richards.
