He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Michelle Smith (Bryan) of Bonneau and Wendy Mikkelson (Chris) of Saint Stephen; his stepson Mark Schlag (Yukimi) of Goose Creek; his brother Robert Schlag (Barbara) of Kingsland, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher, Bryan, Joseph, Hannah, Skyla, Meagan, Sydney, Justin and Tyler; and his great grandchild Ollie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
