He is survived by: his wife Faye Cook Ard; his son John Ed Ard (Brandi) of Moncks Corner; his brother Rev. Larry Joe Ard of Moncks Corner; his grandchildren, Destiny Victoria Ackerman (Lucas) and John Henry Ard; and his great grandchildren, Layton Ray Ackerman and Adalynn Cheri Ackerman. He is also survived by three nieces and nine nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Connexus Community Church of God (109 Oakley Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (684 Broughton Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
