James Albert Montgomery Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Albert Montgomery Jr. of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Albert Montgomery; his sister Katherine Antoinette Montgomery; and his grandparents, Thomas Grier, Harriet Montgomery of Santee Circle, Liston William Woodcock of Baltimore, MD and Sue Welborn Woodcock Tibbets of Waterloo.
He is survived by: his mother Toni Connor Rooks (Tim) of Hollywood, S. C.; his children, Arran Amick (David) of Columbia, Jake Montgomery of Pinopolis and LeCroy Montgomery of Pinopolis; his brother Rob Montgomery (Rene) of Kenai, AK; his nieces, Nichole Valoppi (Dan) of James Island and Jessica Watkins of St. Augustine, FL; his great-niece Emily McElveen (Grant) of Camden; and his uncle Bill Woodcock of Clinton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner (419 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
