He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jessey, Sr. Haynes and Apostle Dorothy Haynes; his siblings, Richard Haynes, Judy Haynes-Ziegler and Christine Yates-Deveaux; his wife Debra L. Haynes; his children, Jessica Haynes (Tavon), Steven Pittman of Columbia, SC, Fredrick (LaQuinta), Yates of Charleston, SC and DeWayne (Tony); his siblings, Deloris Ellerbee and William Haynes of James Island, SC; his aunt Chrissy Lawrence of Charleston, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Leila McKinney, Janet Landrum of Chesnee, SC and James (Eron) Landrum. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, special friends and neighbors.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at 108 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
