He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Derrick Connor, Jr. and Beverly Isabelle Barber Connor; his stepmother Jacqueline Connor; and his great grandchild Dalton Alan Weise. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gail Walden Connor; his children, Bonnie Brewer (Todd) of Moncks Corner, Sondra Medinger (Clayton) of Moncks Corner and Lawrence Christopher "Chris" Connor of Moncks Corner; his sisters, Karen Gallo of Greenville, Pam Cooke (David) of Greensboro, NC and Sandra "Sandy" Hightower of Hanahan; his grandchildren, Amanda Weise, Brittney Johnson (Nick), Carly Brewer, Alexis Myer Fiddie (Forrest) and Hunter Medinger (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Connor Rabon, Tripp Johnson, Madi Weise, Waylon Fiddie and Emma Jean Medinger.
