She is survived by: her husband Reverend Julius Alston, Jr.; her children, Donald Alston, Cynthia Alston Garey, Charles, Derrick Alston and Katrina Alston Cain; her stepson Rev. Elroy Washington; her daughters-in-law, Cheryl Harvey Alston and Patricia Washington; her brother John Flenory (Jean); and her son-in-law Willard Cain, Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Anderson Baptist Church (1159 Old Black Oak Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Old Nazareth Cemetery.
