He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilly Rhode and Catherine Rhode; and his brothers, H. W. and Bobby. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Rhode (Heather) and Kerry Owens (Larry); his grandchildren, Hailee Harrelson (Robbie), Christian Owens of Kevin, Logan Owens and Hannah Rhode; his great grandchild Sawyer Harrelson; and his siblings, Jimmy (Maxine), Larry Rhode (Sheila) and Kathy Stroud (Kevin). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to 4-year-old Luke Strong as he battles pancreatoblastoma, honoring Dale's legacy of strength, love, and determination.
