He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jasper Phillips Widener and Mary Elizabeth O'Quinn Widener; his sisters-in-law, Donna Widener and Tammy Belanger; his wife Cindy Smith Widener; his son Jamie Preston Widener (Sophia) of Moncks Corner; his brothers, Phillip Widener (Sylvia) of Summerville and Tim Widener of North Charleston; his grandchildren, Alexis M. Ware (Daniel), Coleman Scott White and Jasper Zane Widener; his great grandchildren, Aubree Rose Ware and Camden Daniel Ware; his daughter-in-law Nicolle Widener; and his pets, Holly and Chloe. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Plantation Memorial Gardens (3345 S Live Oak Dr, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
