He is survived by: his children, Damen Mahoney (Valerie), Jessica Barnes, Peter Eric Barnes, Jr., Sharon Fields, Melissa Barnes, Melinda Richardson (Barry) and Rosalyn Barnes; and his brothers, John Barnes and Julius Barnes (Burnie). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family, friends.
