He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph T. Sanders, Sr. and Elizabeth Muckenfuss Sanders; his siblings, Shelby Jean Sanders and Paul Henry Sanders; and his former wife Betty West Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Clarkson Sanders; his children, Caroline Sherrill (Jeromy) of Goose Creek and Brad Sanders of New Hope; his stepson Frankie Wiggins, Jr. of Cottageville; his siblings-in-law, Judy S. Sanders of New Hope, Andrea West of Cooper Store, David Clarkson (Tina) of Mobile, AL and Glenn Clarkson (Carol) of Murphy, NC; his grandchildren, Madison S. Howell, Kaitlyn M. Neely (Tyler), Daniel W. Howell, Stella D. Howell, Nathan R. Howell, Lauryl P. Sanders and Graham C. Howell; and his great grandchild Colson B. Neely. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
