He was predeceased by: his father Robert G. Dews; and his brothers, Joseph Dews and Mike Dews. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burbage Dews; his sons, Aaron Dews (Olivia) of Moncks Corner and Ryan Dews (Melody) of Moncks Corner; his sisters, Wanda Dotson of Versailles and Helen Dews of Hustonville, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Brandon Key, Taylor Garvin, Hunter Dews, Riley Dews and Jorja Dews.
