She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Martin and Emily Viola Williamson Martin; her husband George Willis Metts; her children, Dennis L. Poston, Randy Poston, Jeanine L. Metts and Beverly Butler; and her great grandchild Lillian Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Weiss (Lynn) of Moncks Corner, Peggy Faye Cleeve of Pinopolis, Sondra Clark (Warren) of Cross and Charmin Shannon (Victor) of Moncks Corner. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted, or the family suggests that memorials be made to the Berkeley Animal Center, 131 Central Berkeley Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
